Across Arizona, too many capable students face barriers to starting and completing a college degree, not because they lack potential, but because the path can be difficult to navigate without the right support. Be A Leader partners with students, families, schools, and communities from middle grades through college graduation to create clearer pathways to and through college, combining direct student support with stronger systems that help more students succeed.

HOW WE HELP STUDENTS THRIVE

Every Be A Leader program is built around one idea: students thrive when they feel connected, confident, and capable of leading. Through personalized support and strong school and community partnerships, we walk with students at every step — from early college awareness and leadership development in school clubs, through focused preparation for juniors and seniors, to a growing community for our college students — while working alongside schools to use data, identify barriers, and strengthen the systems that help more students reach and complete college.

OUR NORTH STAR: HOW WE MEASURE SUCCESS

We measure our success by how many Be A Leader students earn a college degree, compared to students across Arizona. Be A Leader students graduate at a rate of 59%, nearly double the statewide rate of 31%.
