Edith Betancourt serves as the Manager of Post-Secondary Advising Programs for Be A Leader, where she supports seniors across the Phoenix Union and Tolleson Districts by guiding students through the FAFSA and college application process.

Edith was born and raised in Phoenix, Az, and was a former Be A Leader student from Carl Hayden High School. After graduating from Carl Hayden, Edith attended and graduated from Arizona State University, majoring in Educational Studies. During her time at Arizona State University, Edith was fortunate to work with students in the classroom setting, which developed her passion for helping students with college access. After graduating, Edith was given the opportunity to be part of the Be A Leader Foundation and is excited to continue being part of the team and working hard for all students. In her free time, Edith enjoys spending time with her family and cooking.
