Emiliano Espino
As a first-generation college student, Emiliano attended and graduated from Arizona State in 2019 with a Bachelor’s degree in the Science of Health Care Delivery and serves as an Improvement Coach through the Meta Network with Carl Hayden, Maryvale and Trevor G. Browne oversees college advisors at each school. Emiliano served as an AmeriCorps member as a Transition Specialist with Be a Leader and came back after receiving his bachelor’sHe has seen the endless boundaries of what a post-secondary education can do from seeing his three older siblings all having the opportunity to graduate from Arizona State to his own experience.
Emiliano was a TRIO scholar at Arizona State and did a variety of extracurricular activities such as being an executive officer of the TRIO Devils student organization. He also had various internships within the public health field with the Arizona Department of Health Services and with a local non-profit called Esperança. Emiliano also balanced college studies with working part-time and full-time at different employment opportunities.
Emiliano loves his family and spending time with them. He loves playing basketball and following the sport as well. He is a part of a board for the Mountain Park Health Center as well as apart of the inaugural Adelante Fellowship through the ALL IN Education non-profit organization.
