Soilo J. Felix

Soilo Felix is currently the President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Be A Leader Foundation(BALF) in Phoenix, AZ. As President & CEO, Soilo provides leadership and operational oversight that ensures Be A Leader has the proper operational controls and systems in place to effectively manage and grow the organization.
Prior to joining the Be A Leader team, Soilo worked as Director of Community Engagement Programs at Arizona Science Center, which included Youth Programs, Outreach services, STEM Community Programs, and Adult & Family programs. Soilo also spent twelve years with a local youth and teen development organization where he led the development of a comprehensive educational and technology program strategy. During his career at the Boys & Girls Clubs, Soilo cultivated strategic relationships in the areas of distance learning & Tele-Presence technologies. He has also received extensive training in Program Principles, Supervision and Leadership, Effective Guidance and Discipline, and Program Outcome and Measurements. He was also a participant of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America – Latino Leadership Project as well as a distinguished member of the Academy of Boys & Girls Professionals.
Soilo received a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics from Arizona State University. It is at Arizona State that he became a member of Omega Delta Phi Fraternity Inc. Soilo became a member of the National Board of Directors in 2003 and has served as its Vice-Chairman and began his current tenure as Chairman of the Board in 2007. In 2009 Soilo was one of the founding trustees of The Omega Delta Phi Legacy Foundation which was established as a separate 501(c)3 non-profit foundation that will support the fraternity’s philanthropic programs. Soilo is also a 2015 graduate of Valle Del Sol’s Hispanic Leadership Institute, 2016 Valley Leadership Advance, and a member of Valley Leadership Institute Class 39.
He and his wife, Amy, reside in midtown Phoenix with their daughter Zoë
