Travis Pacheco

Travis Pacheco is an employment lawyer with the law firm of Fennemore in Phoenix. He helps navigate employers and HR professionals through compliance with state and federal employment laws, regularly drafts and enforces employment agreements, and defends employers against a variety of employment-related claims.

Mr. Pacheco also serves as the firm’s Chief Diversity Officer.  In that role, he enjoys leading a diverse group of attorneys and staff who are committed to the firm’s overall mission to promote diversity, equity & inclusion within the firm and in the community.

As a ninth-generation Arizonan, he comes from a hard-working farming family in the Tucson area whose ancestors first settled in Tubac in the 1770’s.  Loyal to Arizona, he obtained his undergraduate degrees in Communication and Spanish from Arizona State University and his law degree from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law.  He has been practicing law since 2008.

Mr. Pacheco enjoys giving back to the community.  He has been involved in the Be A Leader Foundation since its inception, first as a scholar during its inaugural year and subsequently as a volunteer mentor and annual participant in BALF’s Career Shadow Week for over a decade.  He is honored to serve as a Board Member for BALF.  Pacheco previously served as a Board Member for the Los Abogados Hispanic Bar Association.

In his free time, Mr. Pacheco enjoys spending time with his wife and kids and coaching little league baseball. He has a passion for world travel, Major League Baseball (D-backs), and playing the piano.
