Be A Leader Foundation is an approved IRS 501(c)(3) tax exempt nonprofit organization and is recognized as an Arizona Qualifying Charitable Organization with the QCO code 20849. When you donate to Be A Leader through the Arizona Charitable Tax Credit, you can get your donation amount back in your state taxes without needing to itemize your return!
The maximum credit donation amount for 2024 is $470 for single filers and $938 for married joint filers.

The Be A Leader Foundation (“BALF”) is committed to respecting the privacy of our donors. We provide this Donor Privacy Policy to make you aware of our privacy policy and to inform you of the way your information is used.
Information Collected
BALF collects and stores personal information from individuals who donate to BALF (donors), such as name, address, telephone number, and e-‐mail address. We collect and store donation records by donor. We also collect payment information, billing address, and other information necessary to process a donation or event registration.
Use and Disclosure of Information
BALF will never:
• Sell, trade, rent or share personal information with anyone else
• Send you mailings on behalf of other organizations
BALF will use your information to:
• Distribute donation acknowledgements and receipts and inform you of upcoming fundraising activities and other BALF activities
• Comply with the law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to conform to the requirements of law or comply with legal process served on us, protect and defend our rights or act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of others
• Protect against potential fraud. We may verify with third parties the information collected in the course of processing a gift, event registration or other donation. If you use a credit or debit card on the website, we may use card authorization and fraud screening services to verify that your card information and address matches the information that you supplied to us and that the card being used has not been reported lost or stolen.
